15BU Range | 15,000 Volts | 800 Amp | High Voltage Half Coupler
Rated for 800 amps with an operating voltage of 15,000 volts, the design of the 15BKA was inspired by the 114BKA 4-Bolt coupler.
In service since 2001, the 15BKA is rated at IP68 and is suitable for use in Non-Ex operational sites such as opencast and metalliferous mining. A design feature of the 15BU, when closing the coupler system the guide pin will become enclosed in the body casting of the coupler, protecting it from external damage.
