25BU Range | 25,000 Volts | 800 Amp | High Voltage Half Couplers

The IP68 25BKA high voltage aluminium coupler is suitable for use in Non-Ex operations such as opencast and metalliferous mining, as well as tunnelling projects.

The 25BKA is based off of the innovative design of international partner company AusProof’s flagship 224BKA, the first coupler in the world to be rated at 22,000V. Further exploring into the unknown of electrical cable couplers and current understanding, the design of the 25BU takes this innovation one step further. Rated for 800 amps with an operating voltage of 25,000 volts, the 25BU has been in service since 2006. The 25BKA also features a guide pin that will become enclosed in the body casting of the coupler when the system is closed, protecting it from external damage.
